Chicken with vegetables


1 chicken
1 onion
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon paprika
3-4 tablespoons cream
3-4 peppers
2 tomatoes
17 oz (ВЅ kg) potatoes
ВЅ bunch of parsley


  1. Wash and cut the chicken in pieces;
  2. Brown the chicken pieces, the onion and the peppers in the butter and oil;
  3. Add salt and paprika;
  4. Add warm water and cover the dish, mixing in time to time and adding water;
  5. Cut the potatoes and add them to the chicken. After 10 min add the tomatoes cut in pieces;
  6. Mix the cream with few tablespoons of the sauce and add the mixture to the dish;
  7. Sprinkle the dish with fresh parsley.

Serve the dish with white wine and stewed rice.
