Pork cubes on rice


21 oz (600 g) bone pork
1 ВЅ coffee cups oil (butter)
2 onions
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon flour
1 ВЅ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 coffee cups rice


  1. Cut the pork meat in 0.8 inches cubes, Then put the cubes in a saucepan and lightly brown them in 1 coffee cup oil.
  2. Rremove the meat and stew the chopped onions in the same oil in the saucepan.
  3. Add the tomato paste (or chopped tomatoes) with 2 coffee cups water and flour which is lightly browned in a dry non-greased frying pan and diluted with 1 coffee cup water) and boil, stirring with a wooden spoon.
  4. Put the meat, add salt to taste, sprinkle with black pepper and pour in hot water to cover the meat. Cover it and boil it until the meat is done.
  5. Fry the washed and dried rice in the remaining oil for 10 minutes.
  6. Add 6 coffee cups boiling water.
  7. Add salt and pepper and stew the rice in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes.
  8. Serve meat pieces on rice with sauce from the dish.

In order to serve the dish for special occasions you can put the rice in coffee cups and pour it out in a plat, saving the form of the cup. Then the rice will look as small balls. Put the meat with sauce around the rice balls and pour small quantity of the sauce over the rice. You can also sprinkle the dish with cut parsley.

Serve the dish with red wine and enjoy it!
