Stewed chicken with mushrooms

(4 persons)


  • chicken (25 oz / 700 g)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 3 onions
  • 4 tablespoons white wine
  • mushrooms (3.5 oz / 100 g)
  • 4 tea spoons flour
  • bacon (2 oz / 60 g)
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper


  1. Cut the chicken in slices and stew it in the oil. Add salt in the saucepan.
  2. Remove the lightly stewed chicken from the saucepan and in the rest of oil put the chopped onion, sprinkle the flour and stew it.
  3. When the onion browns add chopped mushrooms and the bacon and stew it lightly.
  4. Add the white wine and put the chicken slices again in the saucepan and mix well.
  5. Add black pepper and pour in warm water.
  6. Stew everything in closed saucepan.

You can serve the dish with stewed rice and a bottle of white wine.
