Stewed chicken with mushrooms
(4 persons)
Ingredients:
- chicken (25 oz / 700 g)
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 3 onions
- 4 tablespoons white wine
- mushrooms (3.5 oz / 100 g)
- 4 tea spoons flour
- bacon (2 oz / 60 g)
- parsley
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
- Cut the chicken in slices and stew it in the oil. Add salt in the saucepan.
- Remove the lightly stewed chicken from the saucepan and in the rest of oil put the chopped onion, sprinkle the flour and stew it.
- When the onion browns add chopped mushrooms and the bacon and stew it lightly.
- Add the white wine and put the chicken slices again in the saucepan and mix well.
- Add black pepper and pour in warm water.
- Stew everything in closed saucepan.
You can serve the dish with stewed rice and a bottle of white wine.
